Cook pasta in a large amount of boiling salted water about ten to twelve minutes or until tender. Meanwhile cook asparagus according to package directions until crisp-tender; drain well. Combine cheese, sour cream, wine, and butter or margarine; stir in asparagus and prosciutto. Drain pasta well (DO NOT RINSE). Transfer to warm serving platter; toss with sour cream mixture. Garnish with additional parmesan, if desired. Serve immediately. Makes six servings. |
